READ WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

DROWNED IN SOUND – “Royal Trux and Crystal Castles walk into a bar, get sloshed on absinthe and cross-pollinate: Tempers walk out. ‘Strange Harvest’ is their second single to date and throbs with lethal intent. Its shoegaze undertones are balanced on a knife-edge against a pitch black abyss of gothic synth, peering into its atmospheric churn is an unnerving but thoroughly exhilarating experience.” – Read it here – 04/22/13

PITCHFORK – “The mechanistic aspects of “Strange Harvest” remain constant throughout, an insistent thump that’s halfway between Factory and Wax Trax!, while Jasmine Golestaneh’s vocals become increasingly distorted and blown-out. Within its four minutes, the slow burn of “Strange Harvest” reaches a point of self-immolation” – Read it here – 04/19/13

ZUMIC – “‘Eyes Wide Wider’ was one of the few tracks that made me stop what I was doing and crank my headphones to ear-rattling levels. The swirling song is dark and omnious, yet instantly danceable and sexy.”
